Experienced Nursing Assistant – Children’s
Are you a qualified and experienced Nursing Assistant? Are you able to demonstrate compassion, enthusiasm and confidence? Can you provide the highest standard of care, prioritising work under pressure? Do you have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written?

Bristol Royal Hospital for Children is the tertiary centre for paediatrics in the south west and we are delighted to advertise a number of job opportunities for experienced band 2 nursing assistants. We have a mixture of full time and part time positions, permanent and fixed term in our children’s services. If you have a preference of specialty then please share this in your application.
The successful candidates will need to have experience working with children, excellent team work and communication skills and be committed to enabling the team to provide excellent standards of care. They must be organised and self -motivated, with a passion for ambulatory care.
To be offered an interview you must also have
• Level 2 QCF Diploma in Clinical Healthcare support/ Level 2 NVQ in Healthcare/Health & Social Care
• GCSE A*- D or equivalent in English Language (e.g. Certificate in Adult Literacy at Level 1)
• GCSE A* - D or equivalent in Mathematics (e.g. Certificate in Adult Numeracy at Level 1)
• Experience of working in a health care setting
